  • Out and About

    Go exploring…

Our villas in Majorca make the perfect base to explore the island’s many holiday activities. Enjoy the famous illuminated caves with their vast underground lakes or take a walk in the dramatic Serra de Tramuntana mountains and breathe in the herb scented air.

Take the family to a water park, watch the dolphins perform or even have an underwater adventure in a submarine. Majorca also offers many sporting facilities for the energetic including cycling, sailing, waterskiing and diving.

    Go and relax…

Majorca’s long sandy beaches and turquoise blue seas are the ideal place to unwind. The golden sandy shores and shallow waters of the north coast make it perfect for families.

The lively resort beaches of Puerto Pollenca and Alcudia have good facilities: beach-side shops, waterside restaurants, sunloungers for hire and water sports. The secluded romantic bays of the southern shoreline are great for swimming and snorkelling.

    Get up and go…

Majorca has excellent shopping. Palma, its sophisticated capital, is brimming with popular shops, and with lively resort outlets and local markets, you will find everything you need to buy on your villa holiday. Majorca is best known for its high quality leather goods, cultured pearls and hand-painted pottery. Handicrafts can be found in most places – fine embroidery, local ceramics, costume jewellery and painted ancestral figures are all traditional.

    Go cultural…

Majorca takes great pride in its long and varied history. Most of the island’s culture is centred around Palma where the narrow medieval streets lead to the magnificent Gothic cathedral and the 14th century kings’ royal palace. The artistic and literary hilltop town of Deia hosted Chopin in the winter of 1838 and became the home of English poet and author Robert Graves.

    Take time to go…

  • on a joyride to Soller on the vintage electric railway through the majestic mountains.
  • and sit at a quayside restaurant in any of the island’s ports and dine on fresh fish as the sun goes down.
  • on a boat trip to discover pretty coves that can only be reached by sea. Stop to snorkel in a secluded bay or simply swim in the sapphire waters.
  • and visit the old town in Palma. Explore the Gothic cathedral, royal palace, art galleries, shops and restaurants. Take in the Arab quarter with its museums and narrow maze of streets, and end the day with a drink in a waterfront bar.
  • and discover a market. Try Pollensa on a Sunday morning for everything from fresh produce and household goods to traditional handicrafts and local souvenirs.
