Yalikavak’s charming, cobbled streets are lined with welcoming cafes and restaurants and there is a splendid mosque at its centre. Yalıkavak hosts a street market on Thursdays and there is a windmill on the shore, near the harbour, where the local fishing boats moor alongside the visiting yachts. A narrow beach stretches along the coast in both directions.
